I thought it about time to give you a small update on what I've been doing since the last release. As some of you may already know, the next update will feature Victoria, our loving landlord. This update will shake things up a bit in Weirdwood. New characters will arrive and a few will die, but hopefully our peasant will endure. If he survives, a rise in station may be in the cards....
Apart from Victoria, we'll also see some more of Gwynneth (the towns prostitute) and I hope to add another small scene for one more character (which I'm keeping as a surprise).
The last couple of weeks I've been busy creating a new rival, created a new dungeon map and completed the main scene that sets the new events in motion. I'm pretty happy with progress thus far, but there is still very much left to do. I fear scripting these quests is going to be a real bitch, but I hope to have it all done by the end of October.
I will try to keep you up to date on a weekly basis from now on.

Hi Tinkerer. Any chance of adding some mechanism with which to cancel the vampires' thralldom? Maybe do something for Ziva?

2019-09-26 13:17:37 +0000 UTCThanks! RPG Maker doesn't really get the rep it deserves. It's actually a pretty versatile engine. It's very easy for just about anyone to do a few tutorials and then make a fairly simple RPG. Which I admit is partly the reason why I started with this engine. This is also it's biggest problem. Because a lot of dev's, especially among the adult community, don't really move on from what they learned in the introduction tutorials. It gets them from one scene to another, which is good enough for them. Sadly that gives the engine a reputation for only allowing very simple games that all look the same. A very experienced dev could probably do a lot better than me.

I decided to support this project because I think it is extremely cool and the art style is to my liking. Also hard work that has been put to this game by the author deserves support from this that play this game. I also have same questions or suggestions. Firstly the children of our hero from non-human women, will they be half breeds, Erevi kids should be considered half-drow/ half-dark elf, this also for the rest of elven female like Liandra and Caleah. Maghda should give birth to half-ogre, Shakala to half-goblin (never herd of them in any fantasy setting), if considering vampires triplet’s dhampirs offspring should be most obvious answer. If we consider Vixenatrix Half-dragon children are logical but in this fantasy setting rules maybe are different. Frida and Hilda kids should be considered half-giants, and Rosy case its quiet complicated. About hero becoming mayor of this small community, it would be nice idea to have possibility to invest in this city, for example give blacksmith some sum of money and become his partner in forge do same quest and get in return better quality gear that could be bought. Buildings same defenses for the town would be also nice.

2019-09-22 07:20:27 +0000 UTCI haven't played the game in months, and picked up the latest update. Holy shit dude, this game was already great, now it's amazing. The only RPGM I really fuck with, it gives the whole platform more cred.
