Check this guide if you don't understand how to play videos in stereoscopic mode.
First of all, you need a VR headset to watch these videos. I personally have an Oculus Quest 3. But most of the tips below will work with other VR headsets as well
So, you have a link to the Mega. You can usually turn on stereoscopic mode directly on this player by opening this link in the VR headset's browser.
But the problem is for 360 version link, due to the square resolution, Mega creates black bars around the edges of the video and these bars do not disappear even in full screen mode. And this is recognized as part of the video, and even in 360 mode, there is a black void behind you and the picture is shrunken. I haven't figured out how to remove these bars in the Mega player. If you don't have them or know how to get rid of them, please tell me.
So, the best option is to download the video to your VR device or PC and run it on any
VR player. There are many different players to view VR, all of them are good, but most of them are paid. If you have your favorite, use it.
BUT I do not recommend using the standard player from Quest, as it does not correctly compose the image and the animation does not look the way I intended. MB they fix it in future.
If you don't have any, the best free program I've found is DeoVR. It is available both in the Quest store and on Steam for free.
If you choose to download the animation to a VR device, then install DeoVR from store and open. [image3]
If on a PC, then you need a Steam link or Air link, or some other way to connect your VR to a computer (for example, with a cable). There are a lot of guides on how to do this on the Internet.
Than in both case launch DeoVR, click on local files [image4], find where you downloaded animation, and select the same stereo mode settings. [image5 and 6]
This allows you to view the video as I intended.
You also have a link to the 180 version. There are no such problems with black edges in Mega player, so you can run it without downloading. But 180 cuts off everything behind, you lose the full effect of presence, so watch it only if you don't want to download the 8GB original file.
To switch to 180 stereoscopic mode:
