December Poll and Update! ❄⛄

Hello everyone! Featherscape here, hoping that you all had a wonderful November and (for those that celebrated) a merry Thanksgiving! 

Going into December, I have to say that I am excited for what lies ahead in this upcoming new year! This next month will finally be the last of the commissions finished (I was supposed to have finished back in June, but that’s how bad I am at anticipating my own output…)! That is ‘last of the commissions’ in this current open period. I am closed for the time being on commissions and will remain closed until I find myself in a more manageable position. 

A big lesson that I learned this year was basically not biting off more than I could chew. I love doing commissions, but commissions tend to take priority and I can only write so much. I took on a lot of commissions this year thinking that I could manage everything and it all kinda fell apart. This is largely why originals like Featherlands, Sorority stories, and other pieces and projects didn’t happen as much this year as I would have liked them to; I had to prioritize commissions. So when it came time to analyze what all I could do better (and after getting myself in a position where I’m not as dependent on commission income), I realized that I could simply not take commissions for a while in order to focus on those original stories that I had been neglecting. Like I said, I do love doing commissions, but this came at the cost of working on my own stories that I also enjoy.

So I guess the good news/bad news of it all is that (bad news) I will not be taking commissions at least for a few more months or until I get in a better position with original projects and other obligations (like a contracted book that I’ve been putting off wink wink). Good news is that I can now work on all those for the coming year. 2025 will be the year of more Featherlands, Empress, Sorority stories, books, interactive projects, basically everything that I wanted the channel to be! I am super excited to get back to the classics!

For this month, I have my final commissions lined up, a fun return to the CCBC as the Patreon Exclusive, and will likely go back into great detail of what I just described with a new… update.

She’s been really itching to come back out and play, I can feel it. Hopefully she's nice, but... she might also be pretty naughty.
