June Post: Fan Fiction Properties

Good morning everyone! Thank you for following me into another wonderful month! Time for the newest poll ^-^

As I've said several times before, I am not as well versed when it comes to fan fictions. I know that I've posted polls themed to potential stories based on Marvel and Pokemon characters, but I haven't been as direct as I've liked, having thought about this poll idea for a while.

The reason that I don't do many fan fictions is because I feel like I need to be knowledgeable enough on the property itself in order to properly replicate it. Or else I'm left doing a bunch of extra research lest I be trying to convey a character and/or world that I don't fully understand. I did the Doki Doki Literature Club story because I fell in love with the game and characters and became comfortable enough with the source material that I felt like I could capture it well enough to branch it in a new direction, but it's only when I feel so confident in the property that I'm able to do that. It's a process that comes with more stress for me than just writing original characters in their original worlds. I get a lot of requests for fan fictions and I'd love to work with everyone, but I find myself unable to take on many fanfic prompts and commissions.

So, with that in mind, I wanted to share with you all a list of the properties that I would feel most comfortable writing a story around. Again, this isn't a promise for a story, but I figured that this would be a fun way of communicating with you all certain titles that I enjoy, as a means of connecting, but also to get an idea as to which of these would be the most interesting or popular. I'm going to omit bigger company names like Disney, Marvel, and DC (though I'd say they all apply as well) just to focus on smaller, individual shows, series, and games. There will also be plenty of titles that I leave out that I could also be comfortable with; these are just the ones that come most clearly to my mind.

And I can safely say that I recommend checking out all of these if you haven't already (except Higurashi if you can't handle gore and Date A Live if ecchi, harem, fan service is not your thing).

So please, place your votes for which title you'd like to potentially see a Featherscape tickle story based around!

Comments

I love it, even with the goofy laugh scene.

Lovely visuals and character designs ^-^

Featherscape

Lmao, it would be the Final Fantasy game with the barefoot scene and goth witch Lulu. (Neither being a bad thing. XD)
