But not everybody gets the meaning right away. So Richard Curtis wrote this episode for his sister Belinda, who sadly took her own life. She loved Vincent's work, and so does Bill Nighy. Who so movingly and so passionately talked about Vincent in this episode. For me, this is a masterpiece of British television. I find it hard not to have it as my favourite episode of anything, honestly. That speech that Bill makes, always moves me to tears. Add on the fact that it was not scripted. The director told Bill to just speak from the heart on how it feels about the man and his work. I feel did so beautifully. I actually met Bill once, while photographing a Wedding in the early 00's. Good job, as it might have been embarrassing telling him how much his performance meant to me in an awful display of emotions. 🤣

It's certainly one of my favorites of the whole show. I don't even know what else to say about it, it's just so damn good.
