In version 4.1.1, I am committed to addressing critical issues that have affected the functionality and user experience of LaunchBuddy.
Fixing Blocker Issues
I've been diligently working on resolving blocker issues that have been hindering your experience.
- CEF swap functionality will be enhanced to be more harsh. In its current state this feature works really gracefully which might lead to multibox crashes and unfinished cleanups.
- Mutex closing handle management. Win 11 has signifincantly higher handle count than win 10. This inpacts LB performance as LB has to iterate trough these and close the right ones to enable multiboxing. This iterration is currently single threaded and will be moved to a multithread approach.
High-Priority Issue Resolution
High-priority issues will not be overlooked. These may not be showstoppers, but they are significant enough to impact your interaction with the application. I aim to enhance the overall quality of LaunchBuddy by resolving these problems.
- Some daptions to the status pipeline
- Fixes to the asynch game client update
Version 4.1.2: New Features and Lower-Priority Issue Fixes
Following the stability improvements in 4.1.1, version 4.1.2 will bring some exciting new features to the table:
Lower-Priority Issue Fixes
While not as critical, lower-priority issues can still affect your experience with LaunchBuddy. I'm dedicated to providing you with a smoother, more enjoyable user experience by addressing these minor inconveniences. These fixes are many in numbers but will not impact the features of LB.
Introducing New Features
One of the most anticipated aspects of version 4.1.2 is the introduction of new features. While I'm keeping the specifics under wraps for now, these additions are aimed to provide more automation than adding new features. Manual task will se a quicker more time friendly automated alternative.
