This week in the Forest! #25

Yo folks! Hope y'all are doing well!

Let's start with a word from Vixel!

- Finished bringing in coyotes date dialogue! Still scripting their mini-activity.

- Reworked the Start Menu user interface for starting new games & continuing saved games. Also, now you can fast forward straight from the Start Menu to the start of Act 1 (minus the intro cinematics) or the start of Act 2 (after the bridge is built). This flow feels much more natural than dropping players straight into the middle of Act 2 -- new players don't see spoilers, and experienced players can still skip the intro stuff they've already played.

- Added chapter select to pause menu. It'll feel more integrated later, but for now it gives players with gamepads a way to get to Chapter Select! (And removes the need for players to remember the [C] shortcut key.)

- Finished Finley sex scene and scripting. This was a bit trickier than I anticipated but I seem to have ironed out all but one known bug. (And that one's nearly solved!) :V

I've still got some general bugfixing to do (a softlock and a few less serious ones). Crunching to get those knocked out, then I'll finally be making this month's builds! ^^

On my side of things, I've still been taking things easy with my eyes. So far, we think it is just a rogue case of extremely dry eyes mixed with overstrained eyes, so I've been managing with a ton of eye drops, and just taking it easy for the most part. I've been talking with my ophthalmologist and we have some directions to try out over the next few weeks. 

But, as things are being somewhat managed with the eyedrops, I've been able to squeeze in some production time!

I've gone ahead and written the Coyote's Story voted on by y'all this month - and I've refined the sketch of it as well. I've also made a lot of progress on Coyote and Finley Date that was voted on this month as well! Between last month, and this month's polls, y'all got A LOT of Coyote in your future!
