Here's another WIP Mock I made in flash! I wanted to simulate a few more robust features we'd like to have for our dialogue system! A MAJOR ONE IN PARTICULAR is multi-character support!
Before we implement a feature like this, I like to do mocks so we can get an idea how it's going to function.
This particular mock focuses on a new mechanic for the game! DOUBLE CRITTERS! Having critters talk to eachother, or 2 talking at you, adds a whole variety of fun immersive elements, as well as can work as a really solid vehicle for carrying out narratives! Not all conversations need you to happen! So this feature serves a multitude of narrative purposes. Super stoked for it!
Not sure when we'll have it up and runnin, eventually haha.

Other than that, I've been workin on some character profiles! I wanted to have a general visual and a short synopsis for all of the Collab Tier folks! This way y'all can see who we have in our main cast, and we can start piecing together your involvement =)!
I didn't know how i wanted to lay these out, but I wanted them to be something cooler than a giant word document. I ran with a Trading Card aesthetic, and think it'd be pretty fun to have these printed sometime haha!
Along with this I finished a buncha new profiles for characters. You can see a lot of them in the gif there with the Coyotes! But also Oliver's and a few test ones for Melody, the arctic fox. Some of these characters you won't see till Act 3 - but figured I should make progress on them regardless.

Lastly I've been slowly cleaning this one up! SOOO MANY things to focus on with these more "close-up" shots. I'll likely be avoiding this sorta thing in the future xD! At least with the characters with a lot of moving parts lmao.
This scene will be super fun in game! Very stoked to see it all in, and hope y'all will really dig these two :>
Not sure how much we'll have in for the build early October. But things are comin :>
