During April, we finished up the vertical slice user interface and made a ton of careful tune-ups to improve the clarity, flow and feel of the demo's story and gameplay. Some of our work's been streamed on Picarto, and some has happened offline behind-the-scenes!
The demo build is now alllllmost ready to share! Just taking care of a few last-minute todos. Will keep yall posted. ^.^
Here are some highlights from the last couple weeks:
^ Got the collisions and depth-sorting polished up for all the characters and landmarks in the level!
^ Pause and the pause menu are working very well!
^ Here's a peek at the inventory screen!
^ And a big-picture look at the various characters and landmarks we've modeled, coming to life together throughout the level!
