About Sauna and nudity
Added 2025-11-04 18:41:46 +0000 UTCIn Finland, nudity isn’t really a big deal. It’s not about showing off or being provocative. People go to the sauna with family, friends, or even colleagues, and no one thinks twice about it. Being naked isn’t the focus... the sauna experience is ❤️
It’s part of our culture of honesty and simplicity. There’s no need to hide or pretend to be something else. In the sauna, everyone is equal. Titles, roles, and appearances disappear with the clothes. It’s a space where you can just be 😊
For many Finns, that’s what makes the sauna so special. It’s not only about cleansing the body, but also about relaxing the mind and connecting with nature, with others, and with yourself 🇫🇮

I am totally comfortable being naked in the hot spa in winter and the pool in the summer Since public nudity is against the law in my state, makes for some research to find locations. I have friends all in the Nordic and st Petersburg everything is similar and I do want to try it out and visit friends.

2025-11-04 19:10:57 +0000 UTCI’m a nudist anyway, and go to nudist activities with friends all the time, so I’m very comfortable going in the sauna nude too. My friends and family (some of them) in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan are all of Finnish or other Scandinavian descent and are usually tolerant of it as well.
