The old magic-lamp-with-three-wishes trick again, eh? An oldie, but a goodie. I wonder where the original Gina went and whether she occurred naturally or was 'created' / 'cultivated' / 'curated' like her successors? It looks like 'Gina's' life is a veritable 'Gineric' dumping ground for various magical beings, who have a mortal with a wish that can be misinterpreted in way to make a Gina.
I wonder if there's a whole Gina-making Club of supernatural beings, who sit around over pizza and beer every second Wednesday and compare notes on how each one twisted a completely innocent wish into a way to make another Gina, or that's the punishment if you lose the poker game.
Hmmm, Gina is very close, phonetically, to Genie. I wonder if the original Gina was actually a Genie, who needed a way to escape their curse or was freed and just wanted a change of identity and lifestyle, so they set this recurring pattern in motion.
