Wagner can do whatever the writer makes him able to do. John couldn't stop himself from picking up the previous guy or having sex with him/her, and Wagner has proven himself completely unable to not open any door this person shows up at (plus, Wagner had that look in his eye when he was checking John out). I'm guessing 'John'/Jane/Jenny is going to seduce Wagner, there's going to be some kind of traumatic event and (a) Wagner will undergo the same changes John did, go looking for 'help' and the same thing will happen with someone else; (b) Wagner will die and John will go looking for 'help' ,,,; (c) Wagner will be absorbed into the John character as John was (if John even existed) and ...; (d) the 'girl' (ghost/changeling) who took over John will go looking for her next victim and use Wagner/John/Phillip/Chad/Tyrone/Kim to seduce her next him; (e) there will be an unexpected plot twist due to unforeseen revelations or a subtle 'Chekhov's Gun' (I didn't notice any ducks) and the expected chain of events will be disrupted and everyone will live happily ever after, probably with large breasts and lots of sex (but since it's horror, probably not).

Don't have sex with him/her on the fourth appearance, especially while driving. See how that works out. If he/she just disappears and reappears again, only sexier, remove all sharp objects from the bedroom, trim all overhanging branches, turn the gas off, extinguish any naked flames and switch off all electrical appliances. Then you may as well have a crack, because you're screwed anyway.
