August 2022 Campaign Update

Aw, the month of August. Few people know where the month's name came from, but scholars believe it's German for a Whale's Vagina...

Now let's get to the news!

Bronze Tier: Smart Home has its second issue released this month, and things are business as usual for now. Lots of fun sex is on the way, but as the comic goes on it may get a little more sinister...

Silver Tier: I'm having a blast bringing Haxer's Harem to life, and this month will see a few twists and turns thrown Devin's way. I'm also completely in love with Haxer's new form, enough that you may see her in a new comic down the line. And I have two words for those wondering what comes after Haxer's wraps up: Trans Net! (That could be one word, so I'll talk to Tom Reynolds and get back to you on that...)

Gold Tier: The Round Robin saga begins to wrap up this month with Chaser coming onto the scene. This comic was initially planned as a Premium Comic, but there simply wasn't enough narrative to fill out a full release. The story that is there is really lovely, though it does deal with heartbreak more than the previous two. That being said, there's a very sweet love story as well, so hopefully people will be happy with how Wade's journey ends.

Diamond Tier: I'm not the same writer I was six years ago, and the ending to Newfangled proves that. What I had initially planned to do in the third act now feels like it was drama-filled for the sake of being... drama-filled. It extended the narrative, but not in any way that served the characters. This is just a long-winded way of saying that I've cut a good portion of the comic to make an ending more faithful to the leads than the planned one. I know that losing 175 pages of the comic seems like a lot, but I promise you that those pages would have been treading water.

That means that you'll see the (re)launch of the Timber Grove series in late August! The Phoenix in Room 3C will be the first adaptation, but please be aware that this series will not be a complete one-to-one retelling of my stories. I'll hit many of the same beats, but I'm not the writer I was ten years ago, so some changes are inevitable.
