Toraesop, a Dark Apostle also known as The Fablemaster, was once a rank-and-file member of the 17th Legion that gladly joined its compatriots in the worship of the Ruinous Powers. All that changed when it stumbled upon The Slate of Friendly Fables.
The artifact, excavated from beneath the Colchisian sand dunes, had ever-shifting inscriptions that detailed prophecies in the form of educational stories, which Toraesop used to enthrall thousands of followers under its banner. All the fables depicted predictably included some themes of friendship and teamwork, rendering all those who heard them docile and subservient to Toraesop.
Strangely, the oldest prophecy on the slate, dated back even before the War in Heaven, depicts a Small Tora and Tomatora becoming best frens. Archaeologists and historians have yet to figure out what this means.
