Besides the Adeptus Astartes, Small Tora have also found their way into every Astra Militarum regiment. The Cadians were reinforced by a particularly hardy contingent of them.

Bred for war, Cadian Small Tora are renowned as among the best of the Emperor's many hammers. The Cadians attribute this to their diets, which are supplemented by especially nutritious Cadian Purple Tomatoes.

During the Fall of Cadia, the Cadian Small Tora were unable to prevent the untimely destruction of the planet as they were all distracted by the sight of a giant tomato in the sky (later revealed to be a Great Unclean One, painted red) and promptly flew away to catch it.
