14:00 you are right, you can’t just jump the sequences, that’s why the sequences system was slowly created to make a safer “path” to the divine powers, hence the term pathway. You will lose control and break down, even just your mental state being bad one day can push u to lose control. Also it is the sun pathway so Klein wouldn’t be able to drink it even if he made it, but he can barter and sell the recipe, or even just the name itself (since most people don’t know the next potion’s name like how the nighthawks only knew sequence 9 seer but nothing above) The anime cut out a very important talk with Klein and Dunn , Dunn says that normal protocol is to wait THREE years after drinking sequence 9 potion to be “stable” enough to drink the sequence 8, and it only gets longer from there. And even then, a lot of times they STILL lose control and die BUT they don’t know about the acting method, Klein (from Roselle’s diary) does know. Roselle in the diary that Klein read (which they cut out from the anime) he says that with the acting method it will take normally a year, or a few months, or even just one to two months if you are really talented at acting. This is like waiting around to burn fat VS exercising actively
