Curious, she decided to step inside and see what remained within. Amidst the shelves and books, something caught her eye — a pair of round glasses, surprisingly untouched, resting on a table.
The moment she touched them, a strange sensation washed over her — an overwhelming urge to put them on. As soon as she did, the transformation began.
Her body started to change. She felt her posture shrink slightly, her features soften. Her height diminished just a little, her chest flattened completely, and her once wild, voluminous hair fell smooth and neatly in place. Her face took on a younger, gentler look, losing the mature and commanding presence she once had.
By the time the transformation ended, Cynthia had become a nerdy, introverted version of herself — exactly how she imagined she might have turned out if her life had taken a different path. Now, standing in the middle of the library, was a shy girl with an innocent appearance, her eyes hidden behind magical lenses that had altered not just how she looked… but maybe even who she was inside.
