I grew up with Elvis and The Beatles, heavily. My mom was one of those crazy ass women that lost it over them. In particular Paul McCartney and Elvis. Elvis' voice was magical.

A fun story Tom Jones told about the first time meeting Elvis. He visited Elvis on one of the movie sets. He said Elvis saw him and came walking over singing one of Tom's songs. Tom said he couldn't believe Elvis knew his song. He said as the visited Elvis asked him who influenced him. To. Said he told Elvis, "Well you did." Elvis and Tom became good friends.
