Writing Article - Minor Characters
Added 2020-10-30 21:24:06 +0000 UTCI am back from my event, which went as well as I could hope for - minor technical difficulties as to be expected, but it's out the way and I am relieved. Anyway, this writing article is about minor characters. Not the main character or his party, but those numerous characters you meet along the way, some of more importance than others.
This article looks at how much development to give them, how many to have and also how to avoid minor characters stealing a little too much limelight and causing reader expectations to shift.
One thing I didn't include in here but that I will say now is this: Don't fall in love with minor characters. They are there to do their job. For more, feel free to read the article.
