Milestone Accomplished
Added 2017-01-24 10:03:00 +0000 UTCThe latest milestone has been reached, as some may have noticed!
A huge thank you from me, along with a frantic panic attack and rushed conversation with my beta, College Fool, and TBG Productions as well. If it's taken me a few days to post a comment on it, then it's because I've been trying to make sure I have a plan in place to handle it and to show to you all.
So, what's going to happen?
Well first of all, I do need to explain that nothing will change until February 6th.
The reason for this is that Patreon begins to calculate and charge Patrons on the first of the month, and takes a few days to gather everything. Until this date, it will be impossible to know whether the target has truly been reached. We can see that it has now, for instance, but it's absolutely possible that some people may back out at the last second (and they may have good and personal reasons to), and thus the target will not be hit. Even if it's not, I feel confident in saying we're so close that it would likely be hit the following. I'm not here to spread panic or ask for more; I just want you to be aware of it.
I should know by the 6th. This is also a Monday, and so creates a great chance to actually start the new schedule.
But onto happier topics...
The New Schedule
Assuming that all goes well and there aren't any problems, the new schedule which will begin on the 6th of February should look like this.
Monday: Forged Destiny
Tuesday: The Entertainer
Wednesday: White Sheep
Thursday: Nothing (Me furiously writing on the big ones)
Friday: Nothing (Me furiously writing on the big ones)
Saturday: Not this Time, Fate
Sunday: Professor Arc
This makes for the five a week that has been promised, and the gaps in the middle are simply to represent how much more time the final two take in terms of effort and time.
On that note, there is something important I need to say. Not this Time, Fate has always been a difficult and lengthy write, and that's because i always wrote it as two individual chapters and then put them together. From now on, the fic will be reduced from an average 15,000 words a chapter to 10,000 words per chapter.
This was a change I have been considering anyway, and actually doesn't have anything to do with the Patreon - but I thought it best to let everyone know, regardless.
Stats for the Boffins
The Average word counts for the above come to 35,000 words a week x 52 in a year = 1,820,000
Average paperback novel is 60,000 words.
1,820,000 / 60, 000 = 30.3 novels
That's a lot of writing!
Thank you for all the support, and I hope to prove worthy of it as we move on into the future.

That's literally a ridiculous number... You are writing 2 paper back novels a month, when most people can barely produce that in a year...
