“Our new journey begins,” he said, looking ahead at the road.
Emily turned to him and smiled. “This is your stage—to show your talent and leadership. I believe you’ll do a great job. No matter the result, I’ll always be by your side to support and love you.”
Su Luo held the steering wheel and glanced at Emily with a smile. “I’ll continue to work hard and prove myself through actions. Having you by my side is my greatest motivation.”
Both of them felt a rising sense of anticipation and excitement. Their eyes reflected confidence in the future.
They believed that as long as they moved forward hand in hand, they could create miracles in the vast and wonderful world of football.
The Volvo S90 gently accelerated and disappeared into the distance.
The two sat quietly in the car, enjoying the smooth sensation as it sped down the road. Su Luo soon pulled into the Dortmund training base and parked in the lot.
He and Emily got out together and headed toward the training ground.
Players were already arriving one after another to prepare for the session.
Su Luo looked around and saw his teammates gathering—it seemed something important was being discussed.
Clad in their bright yellow uniforms, they stood out under the stadium lights.
Robert and Hagen were deep in discussion about the upcoming training meeting. Both were key members of the team.
“Have we finished analyzing the video from the last match?” Robert asked.
Hagen nodded. “Yes, I’ve discussed it with the coaching staff. We need more detailed tactics to deal with attackers like Florian Kainz and Davie Selke—especially Matthias Wolf from Cologne.”
Robert felt tension creeping into his chest.
Matthias Wolf, one of Cologne’s top forwards, had posed a serious threat in recent matches.
This matchup was critical for Dortmund—they had to find a way to neutralize him.
Su Luo walked over and quietly joined Robert and Hagen’s conversation.
“We need more focused training,” Robert said. “Wolf is fast and technically skilled. We have to figure out how to contain him.”
“Yes, but we can’t focus solely on him,” Hagen added. “We need to stay connected throughout the defense. Collective defense is our strongest asset.”
Su Luo sensed how seriously his teammates were taking this game.
As the core player and captain of the Dortmund team, he knew he had to instill a sense of calm and confidence in everyone.
“I believe in you all,” Su Luo said encouragingly. “We’re a strong and united team. As long as we stay focused, support each other, and play together, we can overcome any challenge.”
Robert looked at him and smiled, nodding. “You’re right. We’ll do everything we can to shut down players like Wolf. And not just defensively—we’ll bring the fight to them on offense too.”
Hagen added, “We’re Dortmund. We have the strength to beat any opponent. Victory will be ours—if we give it everything we’ve got.”
Su Luo frowned slightly, his mind sharpening with resolve. He trusted his teammates. They had the talent and strength to face what lay ahead.
They shared one goal: to win for Dortmund.
