Chapter 860: Obey Team Orders

Su Luo hurried back to the locker room, where he was immediately greeted by Robert and Hummels.
Both of them looked at Su Luo with some concern.
“Su Luo, are you ready?” Robert asked, worry evident in his eyes.
Su Luo straightened his back, clenched his fists, and smiled as he said to Robert and Hummels, “Of course! I can’t wait to surprise our opponents.”
Robert let out a breath of relief and nodded in support. “We all believe in your strength and leadership. As long as we work with you on the field, we can turn this game around!”
Hummels added, “Exactly, Su Luo. You’re the core of the team. We need your creativity to break through their defense. Once you see an opening, go for it.”
Encouraged and supported by his teammates, Su Luo’s confidence grew stronger.
They were a team. Every one of them shared the same goal.
The three began discussing tactical plans.
Su Luo suggested increasing the number of attacking players and working in close coordination with Robert and Hummels to create more pressure on the opponent’s defense.
Robert frowned slightly, thinking it over. “Su Luo’s right. We can stretch their defense and create space for him. I’ll cut back on sideways passes and push forward directly to look for chances.”
Hummels nodded in agreement and added, “At the same time, we have to track Su Luo’s movements closely and get the ball to him as soon as he’s in position. If we work together, we can change the flow of the game.”
The three of them quickly settled on a simple yet effective tactical plan.
Without needing to say it out loud, they all knew—they were going all out, trusting each other completely.
As they waited for the second half to begin, Robert looked at Su Luo with eyes full of expectation and belief.
“Su Luo, I know you can change this game with your talent,” he encouraged.
Just as Su Luo finished discussing tactics with his teammates and was preparing to head out, Coach Krause walked into the locker room.
The players immediately fell silent, their eyes focused on him.
Krause scanned the room slowly, his gaze lingering on each player for a moment.
He listened patiently as the players shared their suggestions, knowing that this was a critical moment requiring both wisdom and clarity.
After hearing everyone’s opinions, Krause took a deep breath and looked directly at Su Luo.
Clearing his throat, he addressed the team.
“I’ve listened carefully to each of you. I know you’re all eager to give your best in the second half and fight for victory.”
“However, I need to think carefully before making a final decision,” Krause said calmly.
The players waited silently, knowing the coach would make his decision based on the situation on the field and the opponent’s strategy.
After a long pause, Krause finally made up his mind.
“Su Luo, you’ll come on as a substitute in the second half,” he announced.
“I trust in your ability and leadership, but I also have to consider the rhythm of the match and the opponent’s tactics. Bringing you on as a substitute at the right moment will give us the best chance to win.”
Su Luo felt a trace of disappointment at hearing the decision but nodded calmly.
He knew Krause had his reasons. As a professional, he had to respect the coach’s judgment—and be ready to give everything when his moment came.
