When people talk about isekai there talking about the current formula The whole guy gets hit by a truck and reincarnated thing and stuff like it Mushoku tensei started that trope and did it very well

You know a lot of actors and references too, which is pretty neat. Thought I'd subscribe, and boom, I'm surprised with one of my favorite series haha. You guys will definitely have a lot of theory crafting as the show goes on. You picked up a lot of hidden details and guessed pretty accurately what things would be. To comment on a few things I took note of when watching though, your sub vs dub take because of editing is actually interesting, I never considered that. Having watched both for this show, I can say they're really good, but if I had to say, the sub at most points sells it slightly more for me, especially Subaru's voice. Is there a reason though why it'd be hard to go above 15 minutes of footage for an edited video? Just YouTube rules I'm guessing? Someone already mentioned it here, but yes, you were right, the director's cut has various animation fixes. Furthermore, it adds some scenes, and past the first episode of the series (which was the same length originally), it combines two continually. I'm not sure if Jobless Reincarnation is the godfather of isekais. I know it was originally a web novel, but I got into it from the anime, which was really good, just too pervy for me, so I skipped through a lot of it. But in terms of what really spawned isekais... I have a hunch that it might actually be Sword Art Online. A lot of the dialogue in this series is hilarious, so definitely expect more of that. It always manages to make me laugh, regardless of the dark stuff that's there. Though that will be a consistent theme as well. One of the selling points of the show IMO. Also, heh, it made me chuckle when you guys started talking just like Subaru does. Funny stuff. Love how genuine you guys are with your viewpoints. It feels very raw. You also mention things that I'd never think of, like how a new game is the same, starting from zero. Interesting thought. Also, the OST in this show is amazing. Really sets the tone and atmosphere and there are some great moments with it throughout the series (I'm a little biased here because I compose music as a hobby xD). I have to say, this was amazing! Super interested to see what you guys make of the rest of the series. Made a great choice to subscribe. Will definitely check out more of your content when I have time! :)
