Try to make Jon's characteristics the mixture of Jon's goodness and honour with Daemon's dashing, daring, and dangerous personality without his ambitions and hot temperament. One of the main desire of Jon's was to make Ned proud, to be viewed as honorable and not been labelled as just Ned Stark's basterd. You can twist this concept a little bit by making one of his main desire to make Daemon proud while trying to be honorable and not been labelled as the Rouge Prince come again.
