Not that I think that will happen, but I think it’s crazy neither he or his sister have ever wondered about their dad’s side of the family (I would be trying to track them down).

2026-02-05 20:16:48 +0000 UTCWhy doesnt Mat have lessons for his runic skills? He is exceptional in that regard and should improve on his comparative advantage there. On the other hand his herbalism and alchemy seems like a waste. Sure Alden might help him a bit, but both skills seem like the most generic variants and not really specialised at all. Real Alchemists have better, more specialised and more skills. Competiting seems hardly worth it. And do they really add enough in regards to storytelling?

Ordering the most expensive stuff just because someone is paying for your meal is just bad etiquette imo, it feels like you're taking advantage of that person. Especially with Kai basically ordering nothing while paying for everyone else. Idk that section just really bothered me, cause we've already seen moments in the past where he lets people steamroll over him, I still haven't forgotten about Sabe and the knives... Aside from that, I'm really excited to see the spars! Correct me if I'm wrong but is this gonna be the first time we see Kai and Rain fight each other? If so then I'm looking forward to it, even if Kai will probably lose.

Blackwoods matriarch comes to visit Alden to ask wtf is going on with rumors of Deathsworn Matthew sent to guard him in college 3. Reshi is coming for a surprise visit ( Kai) after a good investment and instead gets a meet a siren/ Rain surprise. 4. Dora and Virya coming for a visit/ or their interaction with Elijah talking about Kai/ or Virya and Dora contacting Kai via House of mirrors. 5 Kiki’s progress on the islands and Kai becomes and uncle 6 Cranky Enchanter encounter again. 7 Fights with 2nd-3-4 yr old combat students that push Kai to use space magic just for a draw
