WIP - Bear Apartment

Yesterday I did a small art stream working on commissions! After working on a few, I decided to try something a bit different!

For those that don't know, I am a 3D artist as well as an illustrator. Backgrounds have never quite been my strong suite so I decided to try something out. On the stream I quickly modelled together this very quick mock up of a kitchen, trying to make it seem lived in. Then I drew over it, adding my own sketchy artings to it and the result of it so far is that I think it looks rather nice!

It also helps me in the future with knowing what the general lighting should look like in the scene! What do you guys think? Should I try to do stuff like this more often?
