No charge for April
Added 2024-05-01 22:00:49 +0000 UTCHey all. Just letting you all know there's no charge at the start of this month for April. I'm sorry to admit that I've kinda fallen into a creative slump and so I didn't get a whole lot of art done during most of April.
I know it's not much but I tried putting together a little sketch of Raven, Starfire and Jinx here so I'm not leaving you all with nothing for the time being. I'm still somewhat in the creative/motivational slump but I'm starting to feel myself pulling out of it so I'm hoping that means I'll have the creative drive to get back into making art soon enough! I've kept you all waiting far too long for me to finish the last couple of strips that I started and so I really need to get them done.

Just like people, passions need a diverse diet to stay healthy. Take your time, get some good rest, and I'm sure you'll find something to spark yours up again eventually!

Happy you like the sketch (: I really do want to get back into drawing because I feel like I've left everyone on a cliffhanger with the strips that I've started working on. But I fear you might be right and that the best thing to do is to take things slow and not force myself to get back into drawing if I still do need to take my time with having a break from art and waiting for the motivation to slowly come back naturally. Whatever happens though, I still hope I'll be diving back into art sooner rather than later.

The animated version was just me experimenting around with doing a wobbly lineart effect to see if it added to the mood of the pic in any way. I'm sorry if I did get your hopes up a bit and had you thinking I had animated something proper!

It may be a good idea to not draw anything through this month and just relax. Does wonders to just let the mind/imagination check out for a long period of time every so often.

As for our three favorite titans, happy to see them again, especially all snuggled together looking cute. (The mini ainmation loop threw me off guard at first but now I can't stop looking around at all the little details.) And as for the straps, I know it's been a long wait but please still take your time. No pressure, no rush, pace yourself. Your art is always worth the wait!
