VK 36.01 (H) workable tracks - May '23 Standard-Tier exclusive slot 1b/2
Added 2023-04-14 13:49:14 +0000 UTCThe VK36.01 also known as "VK Sport" was one of the pathfinders leadings into the Tiger Tank. Only one chassis was produced, without a turret ever being finished. Half empty, light weight, yet with a powerful Maybach engine the vehicle was used for VIP's entertainment during the Tiger's trail and testing.
This track is a predecessor of the Tiger I's transport track. It features a forward extended profile on the part making contact with the road -> Guys, if you know the English term, comment down below - in German it's the Griffleiste.
Interesting enough, the transport track itself is the predecessor for the combat track.
There are no drawings or measurements known for this track variant, it's rather safe to assume it would have had a mostly identical core geometry as the transport tracks has (at least in 1/35).
Fit was tested with Revosys/RFM.
This is a rework based on my updated and updetailed Tiger 1 class tracks.
I hand these out together with the transport track as one slot. The differences between both are minor and the design process was streamlined. To me the count as 2 variants of the same track type.
