These are the tracks for the Tiger I - V1, Initial and Early.
You can build the early and mirrored pattern from this release (mirrored link included).
The design is based on the core I designed together with Adam Mann two years ago, now supplemented with 3d scans of both ends. (Well, the central section doesn't have enough features for the scanner to bite, the tank sitting on top of it didn't help either...) Simplifications are down to the absolute minimum and all surface transitions have been redone for good.
From what I've seen on renders of "the competition", this here is 2nd to none.
All in all, this is my last iteration of design for this track type and its variants. The detail level is higher than what 8k printers can resolve and what goes beyond in future won't translate into anything visible in 1/35th scale...
Pins are half length: pre-supported, blank and as pattern. (I'll add full length pins for display as spare tracks with subsequent releases.
Click-System has to be seen as experimental, there are too many influences like resin, exposure settings and post processing, I can't possibly account for.
Both Pin- and Wire-System have chamfered sleeves, guiding the pin or wire through the joint and holding the segments without much wobble. Further: the pin does lock into place, reducing the chance of loosing them.
Don't re-scale them, 1/16 and 1/48 stand alone versions are available later.
These are available to Early-Bird and Standard Tier in April '23 (Release date: Monday, 3rd of April, ~10pm CET)
I hope I was able to meet your expectations.
Kind regards,
Kai
Special Thanks to Adam Mann for providing data and support throughout the years!
