THE LAST OF US EP 3-4 REACTION

THE LAST OF US EP 3-4 REACTION

Comments

She is a phenomenal Ellie. I'm not having to comparing her to the game and I love her sass in this role. It was the same when "Bohemian Rhapsody" came out and all the old people (yea, I'm old so I can say that) hated Rami Malek because he didn't look enough like Freddie Mercury. I'm just like, People! They are actors not doppelgangers! The chemistry between Bella and Pedro is crazy good! As a viewer, what more can we ask for? ✌️💖

I would say I WISH they meant cancer, but I don't. I BELIEVE they mean Multiple Sclerosis. which I have (I just found out last month that I also have breast cancer, so now either is extra heartbreaking to me with this episode). As sad as this episode is, I think it is brilliant.

I think TLOU fans and IWTV fans had similar experiences with both adaptations. The writers stayed faithful to spirit of the story, kept the most important bits, wrote characters exactly like they should be but also added a lot of new stuff but it’s all interesting, dramatic and enriches the story. It’s nice when an IP gets adapted with care and respect.

Was bawling my eyes out while watching Episode 3. One of the most beautiful and painful stories I’ve seen on TV.

I'm looking forward to your next video! like this is only the beginning ):-(

and btw, almost all the main voice actors play in season 1 themselves. You already had 2 by now, one of them is Tommy in ep 4, introduced at 1:51:12, the other one is too obvious so ill not spoil that one yet XD. Keep an eye/ear out!

I remember watching episode three and needing to take a huge breath, it annihilated me emotionally.

Ep 3 and IWTV S2 finale are the shows I often judge reactors by; if they don't at least get choked up by those two episodes, I give them serious side eye. As someone who never played the games, I absolutely love Bill and Frank's story. I don't see it as tragic at all. It's just about the happiest story anyone could hope for in this universe: living in relative peace and comfort, growing old with the person you love, and dying painlessly on your own terms. What more could someone ask for?

Hey Taco, loved the reaction as usual. Do you notice that the final shot of ep 3 at 1:21:40 is the game's main menu screen? ;p

Ok finished the ep 4 react. I know we need to be getting to the important points of the game in the storyline but every time I watch this episode I think, why didn’t you guys plan a route out that avoids the major cities? Joel has the experience to know that the cities are going to be hotbeds for activity and also congested with debris and cars etc. But I digress lol. I do appreciate the way this episode highlights how humanity has devolved in this post-apocalyptic timeline. I haven’t played the games but my husband explained the types of “people” that are out there that Joel is referring to, and it’s Kathleen’s character and her group of people are a good place to start to introduce us to those elements, and trigger some of Joel and Ellie’s backstories to start surfacing. Looking forward to the rest of the season with you!

Have to comment already even though I haven’t watched the ep 4 part of the reaction yet 😹 Episode 3 is definitely one of the best episodes of television I’ve ever seen. Hands down. The way they told their love story over the course of the episode, Nick Offerman’s performance, how they tied in the Linda Ronstadt song at the beginning and end of their story, the way it was shot.. just stunningly beautiful. I remember ugly crying so hard watching it. A couple notes.. • The closed captions describing sounds are there for the hearing impaired. As hearing-able people, we may not need it but some people do. You may want to edit that out of your YouTube version because you know people can be rude in the comments and I’d hate for that to happen. • I believe Frank has either MS or ALS, not cancer. They didn’t want to specify it in the episode because Frank and Bill wouldn’t have been able to know exactly what it was either, just guess based on their own knowledge of the symptoms. Thank you for sharing your story about Nina ♥️. Companionship with another living being is by no means lesser because it was with a pet instead of a human. I’m glad you had her for the time that you did and that it helped you when it was needed. Ok on to watch the ep 4 part of your reaction 😹
