Enjoyed watching this show with you, I was always hesitant about it because of the trigger warnings but it was really enjoyable.

2025-02-04 18:22:32 +0000 UTCWhen I saw Baby Reindeer I couldn't help but notice the similarities to I May Destroy You. Both leads are the main character who are retelling their own real life experience of SA in the industry through a dark comedy. Man, Michaela Coel is just stunning in every way 🥺.

She does an appearance on Pierce Morgan (don't know why she chose that show) but it's extremely fascinating to hear her perspective after watching this show. This show leaves us wondering about so many things, I guess it's partially an avenue to pursue some sort of follow-up -- although I can't say I was left with many more actual 'answers' after watching the interview. Still, fascinating if you're a student of the human psyche.

Granted, he may be stringing Donny along again (dangling money/success with no real intention to provide it) but it does very much make me wonder what happened afterwards with that situation.
