That's why you didn't catch the thing Flint is missing/strange about the ship because you blinded yourself to seeing it. Gotta be able to look through uncomfortable things in life to see the true purpose instead of letting rage turn off your brain.

And yes the shots and just the whole atmosphere they created in this world is awesome, you feel like you’re there in the Caribbean with them, even though it wasn’t shot in the Caribbean lol. And yes Flint is a master manipulator he’s that character that is convinced he’s doing the right just thing but doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty to achieve what he believes is the greater good. Trust it gets so much better.
