Some of them you won't get until season 2.. Which is why it's very important you at least do through that season. Flints wounds were from his fight with Singleton at the end of episode 1. There wasn't much time that had passed between 1 and 3. Vane tried to get Max out quietly but that failed. He knew that if Eleanor found out that she would react poorly. As she did. And he didn't want to jeopardize his relationship with her AND give up being consort for the hunt for the L'Urca gold. I'm sure others filled you in on the rest. Pretty soon this show really starts to ramp it up. Looking forward to you're reactions and very glad we will be getting them faster now too. Awesome. I never really realized how beautiful Miranda (Mrs. Barlow) is.. Maybe it's her reciting Marcus Aurelius that did it for me.

I love that Billy always says everything with his entire chest even the lies. Mosiah and his men are the ones Vane killed when Jack lost the pearls trying to catch Silver. And they keep focusing on Anne because foreshadowing. 😄 All the love for Jack Rackham.

One thing I love about this show is that the writers told the actors all about their backstories, so they understand how to play things from the start. It also play to what you said, it always makes sense why they’re doing things. Even when it’s frustrating or not very good for them, you get why. Flint’s still injured from Singleton and Vane killed that guy on the beach to ensure Flint would lose his place as captain (that’s what they were fighting about).

So this episode yea, you get a more in depth look at the different characters. Miranda is definitely my favorite female character on the show. She’s so elegant and their relationship is so complex. Love Vain he’s such a hard ass but you can’t help but feel bad for him. And gotta love the back and forth banter with all these characters. The dialogue is crazy for this show. Can’t wait to watch more!
