2024-11-14 13:51:18 +0000 UTCI still don't know what to think about the movie Interview with the Vampire. In some aspects it was great, especially the costumes, but I couldn't stand the choice they made with the actors. Tom Cruise's portrayel of Lestat was too much like a comedy. I really like Brad Pitt and he was cute in this movie, but to me he was simply NOT Louis. He didn't even look like Louis was descripted in the books. Louis had short, curly black hair in the books and was slimmer and more delicate than Lestat. Jacob Anderson embodies Louis perfectly, Brad Pitt was too strange. Antonio Banderas as Armand was a complete mess. Although they made Armand older in the series and gave him black hair and orange eyes, Assad caught the essence of Armand in a great way. So watching the movie is always difficult to me.

I don’t even have to worry about the new content—I just know I’ll like whatever’s coming. 🤣 I’ve actually been putting off Coco for years and haven’t seen The Shawshank Redemption yet, so I’ll be watching those for the first time too! (And I won’t even bring up Interview with the Vampire because you already know how I feel, lol.) 💌
