I think if you make it through the first episode you'll have a good idea as to whether it's going to be a fun ride or too stressful for you. It's an incredible piece of work but if it's gonna fuck you up there's no shame in giving it a pass. Good luck!

But it's not non-stop scares, you definitely get breaks. I've seen it a few times and I still get chills though! There's no shame in having a blanket handy! I'm a grown woman and I was BUNDLED UP watching this! 🤣

2024-09-28 21:46:53 +0000 UTCi was 16 back when this came out in 2018, my family watched together and i was NOT a horror fan back then (i've gotten slightly better) the show is incredible. both haunting of hill house and haunting of bly manor by the same creator, are some of, if not the best horror shows created, but some of it really is creepy, especially if you're not a horror person. i still get paranoid at night time by a certain hill house ghost, i always feel like she gonna just be there lmfaooo. truly so worth the watch though, so well made.
