Loadout Database
https://beta.light.gg/loadouts/
The Loadout Database is an entirely new effort with a basic goal: make buildcrafting more accessible for beginners and more engaging for experts. I've written two full length novels into the FAQ pages for this new tool, so be sure to read those if you find anything confusing or in need of explanation:
Loadout List: https://beta.light.gg/loadouts/faq/
Loadout Inspect: https://beta.light.gg/loadouts/faq/loadout-inspect/
Overall, The idea with this tool is to provide a way for the Destiny 2 community to explore loadouts from high-skill players for challenging activities. Getting into buildcrafting can be daunting for new/returning players. We're hoping by providing a large, very filterable list of loadouts across all endgame activities, more people will be able to get into it.
From there, in typical light.gg fashion, we want you to be able to really drill down into the data and say things like "show me all Gunslinger Hunter loadouts using Classy Restoration and The Last Word" or "show me all Trials loadouts that include an Auto Rifle" and so on.
Eventually, as we gather more and more data, it will also be interesting to take a look at any trends that emerge and present those to the community as well.
I've created a new channel on the Discord server dedicated to feedback for this new feature. I'm anxious to hear what you all think, any problems you might find, how useful you find it, and anything else you have in mind. You can find that channel here: https://discord.gg/MJeS4EymKS
A few specific things I'm looking for feedback on:
- How do you feel about the filtering on the loadout DB page? I'm looking at ways to improve the filtering on the main database, so if this system seems like an improvement (or not), I'd be glad to hear your thoughts
- How do you feel about the "quality" of the loadouts being generated? I'm shooting to show loadouts from people that are in the top 10% of their mode (PVE/PVP), but that number may need to go higher or lower if the quality is too low or if we're not generating enough loadouts.
- What do you think of the loadout infographic sharing functionality? I'm really proud of it so I'm hoping people like it
- Is the loadout inspect page information overload? There's a ton here, but I'm hoping that if you don't care about how efficient an armor piece's stat roll is, you can just ignore that stuff and pay attention to what you care about.
- Overall speed. This is a new system with a lot of moving parts, and in local testing it has been a bit slow. I would be curious to hear your experience with it as well.
Thank you all for your help testing out this new feature, and as always thank you for all your support. I'm hoping that this new tool will help new and old players alike, and I'm sure that your feedback will be invaluable in making that a reality.

That’s correct for the time being. Definitely something I can look into adding
