A Quick September Update

Tl;dr: Break -> Ludum Dare -> Quecto, maybe halloween -> CT

I realised I've been quiet on here for a whole month. It's only fair that you get updated once in a while. What next? The answer is more concrete than usual.

Reset

After finally finalizing the final versions of Pent's Wacky, Zany Road Trip to Adulthood for different platforms today, I'll be on hiatus starting tomorrow. The past year reached peak chaotic productivity: my focus was divided between many projects, things have been unorganised and my schedule was all over the place. I think in a way, Pent's Road Trip si a manifestation of this.

Result is that I don't have that much to show for it in terms of finished products. I would, however, if I finish these projects. I've been messing about with getting things in order, and I actually did the past couple of days (efficiently worked on more Warper), so that has me convinced stuff can and will get back on track when I'm done hiatusing around.

Back from break

...Which will be October 4th at the latest. Coming back full swing by participating in Ludum Dare for fun. At least, I hope there'll be one? The site seems quite outdated. Relatively fun fact: Drifting Among Worlds was originally a Ludum Dare project and Soul Mirror was based on an old Ludum Dare theme.

Right after that, loose ends: new Quectos (sorry about the delay), a retrospect on the Pent game and some more transparency, MAYBE 1 Halloween game at most, then...

The Travels that are Cursed

Back to Cursed Travels: Sunken City. Took me long enough. The keyword is focus; it's time to work on it until it's finished. One break will be allowed: namely to make CT5. Another CT web game should breathe some life back into the series and promote Sunken City more.

Development wil be accompanied by a dev log. I'm not sure yet if this'd be the right place, or if it's time to dust off the ol' Wordpress blog.

I promised a friend of mine CT:SC will be finished next February. I don;t think this is realistic, but hey, let's try.
