Stone Blast Prototype

As I've mentioned in my previous post, here's the Patron-exclusive release of how far I got with a shmup before I abandoned it indefinitely. During development I came to the realisation that my approach for designing this project didn't quite work for this genre. Being used to platformers, puzzle games, and everything in between meant that something as densely designed and action-packed as a shmup wasn't as easy to design as one might hope. So if I ever return to this project, the levels will be mostly redesigned, and likely some of the core gameplay as well.

In this current prototype, level 1 is finished, complete with 2 mini bosses and a grand boss. Level 2 is finished up to the first mini boss and a tiny bit after that. Again: there's no sound, and some saving/loading and resolution stuff is a bit wonky.
