November update
Added 2021-11-01 10:32:02 +0000 UTCHope you all had nice Halloween. Here's a quick(?) update on what I'm currently working on. The content of this update is ordered by how likely it is something will actually be released/worked on.
Certain
Two Cursed Travels games, a (relatively) large challenging 2D platformer, and a Steam game are in development. These are their current statuses:
- Cursed Travels #3 (Free, Web): Most musc, graphics and backgrounds are done and implemented. I finished designing the puzzles and gameplay yesterday. Lore and intro finished. Everything else, including actual implementation, is yet to be done. Recent tweet is relevant.
- Cursed Travels #4 (Free, Web): The game is done on paper. So the actual work is still left, but will be straightforward. You're certainly gonna like this one if you liked the first one.
- New 2D platformer (Free, Web): Comparable to Amidst the Sky in terms of length and difficulty. It's a metroidvania based around a float mechanic, like the jetpack mechanics you might encounter in other games.
This one is actually mostly done; all gameplay and levels have been fully implemented. The work left however is certainly non-trivial, and includes: sounds, music, ending, extra bonus content, and menus (also title graphic).

- Steam game (PC, very reasonable price): A sort-of linear, sort-of atmospheric 2D platformer with some dort-of light puzzles. I'll be finishing the previous three games first before continuing, that way I'll have games to release while working on this.

Expect either the third Cursed Travels, or the aforementioned metroidvania to be released in this month
Kind of likely
- I tend to forget about social media, so in another effort to not leave anyone mildly interested in my work in the dark all the time, I'm considering posting a screenshot every Saturday on whatever I worked on then. In other words, actively participating in #screenshotsaturday, starting soon.
- It's high time to finally put my games on Newgrounds. I haven't done that yet, because Temple was largely ignored over there and after that I kind of just forgot. That said, it might not be a bad idea to have my games available on another big platform, and I quite like Newgrounds.
- Might as well actually finish Ferry Wheel (this weird thing).
Likely but will take a while
- Cool Secret Project after the first Steam game is released.
- I want to make some mobile games, including a port of Warper, but it's really boring to do.
- Amidst the Sky sequel after the Cool Secret Project is done. Last time I worked on that I made this:

Aight, that's about. Not really a "quick" update, but what can you do.
P.S. I missed doing something arguably cool on Halloween because I forgot to plan for it. It's not really something generally celebrated where I live, so it's easy to forget whoops.
But NEXT year...
