A big announcement today - you may have seen our announcement regarding the future of The Game Band and the investment we’ve received. This news means we are able to plan the future of Blaseball, beyond the Expansion Era. This sets us on the path to make Blaseball sustainable, hold true to our values, and pay our people what they're worth.

This also means that we are closing the Patreon.

Your generous support as we’ve built this game and community has been immeasurable. It’s not an exaggeration to say Blaseball would not be around if not for all of you. This Patreon has been the reason we we able to continue making our weird, wonderful game after the climactic end to the Discipline Era. With your help, we were able to take the limited resources we had and stretch them much, much further than they would have lasted without you. So thank you, again and again, for your support.

As for what this means for the future of this Patreon and your rewards, the Patreon will be closing and partial refunds will be offered to anyone who has contributed annual support. Inside a Blaseball will continue after this month, and we are looking at ways to incorporate the Patreon reward tiers (egg naming, question asking, etc.) and other interactions like them into our future plans. Names that patrons have submitted are still in the pool. The Bloodhouse room and Bloodhouse role will remain in the Blaseball Discord as a legacy thank you.
