More goodies have arrived + some news

Well more goodies have arrived and I'm almost done filming the next " little" Impreza video before I move onto the main event, Actually fixing the car and getting it on the road!

and now for the bad news, although for some of you it may be great news! Well as most of you know for the past few months coming up on a year I've really been struggling with YouTube and the " algorithm" and as a few of you probably know it really did look like the channel was coming to an abrupt end, that's not to say were out of the woods yet as we're nowhere near it but I have been doing lots and lots and lots of research in this time and I think I've found the answer or at least an avenue i need to go down. So the "algorithm " screwed me royally but i also think I've been my own enemy too. From what I've learned YouTube likes consistency and lets face it my channel is none of those things, yes i stick to restoration but i tend to jump from topic to topic, now if you look back at all my videos the ones that consistently resonate with the audience are the bikes whether its nostalgia, owning them and looking for maintenance tips etc etc people generally enjoy them so I've taken the decision to take the channel back to its roots after the Impreza is wrapped up. So that means going back to multi part restoration series of cool retro bikes of the big and small variety all restored with meticulous detail and up to or better than factory standard. I know lots of you will be sad not to see anymore "random" items being restored and I'll miss it too but hey I can always start a second channel dedicated to restoring the random stuff if there is enough interest ;) But for the main channel it really is time to focus up and concentrate on one topic and really take it to the next level with motorcycle restoration and try to get back onto an even keel. I know this will not sit well with come of you and i totally get it if you're not into bikes and unsubscribe from the channel and Patreon i get it i really do and thank you for all your help and support up to this point and wish you all the best for the future aswell.

Now I think this post I long enough and you'll all be sick of reading by now and I have a workshop full of Subaru bits and motorcycles that need restored so I'll say good bye for the moment and speak to you all again very soon.

I'm a little late to this post, but at least for me, any of your videos are excellent. Essentially anything with a motor, haha. But it's such a shame that YT's environment promotes and punishes content creators like it is a game or competition, although I guess that's inevitable when money is involved. Still, you're over 520,000 subscribers - congrats on that! I'll keep watching and supporting as long as you're willing to do this.

Yeah, I might actually do that over on a second channel , use it more more of a how to channel rather than a restoration based channel, kind of what my mechanics uses his second channel for.

Would love to see more videos explaining the process, basics of painting, zinc plating etc. how best to tackle a project.
