Beterbiev is King! Was Bivol robbed?

What a beautiful fight Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol gave us, both answering all questions that any discerning fight fan might've had going into their unification bout. But who deserved to win really? Also, thoughts on the undercard including Ben Whittaker's fall from grace and Fabio Wardley's rapid rise to heavyweight prominence! And whwatever else I fancied talking about!

Let me know in the comments below how you scored the title fight!

Thank you for two things: first, being reasonable and recognizing like I did that close rounds mean a robbery is not really possible! Also, thank you for my kind words about my preview episode: I aim to give these fights the respect they deserve because as fans, I want us all to see how important they are! So I’m glad you got hyped as it means I’m doing my job right :-) Thanks for listening my friend

I scored it 116-112 for Bivol but couldn’t agree more with your point about the swing rounds and unconscious bias - I think a mirrored scorecard for Beterbiev would be perfectly valid. Your last breakdown got me really hyped for this fight so I was glad that it ended up being a good one!

Was a superb fight, love boxing when it's like that. Incredibly close happy with 115-113 either way or draw. I enjoyed you going through the swing rounds showing how some cards could end up wider if your preference is for one style a bit more than the other and how so many rounds were close. Needs an immediate rematch, they both seem a long way from any other competition at the weight. I love the idea of Usyk - Beterbiev before them riding into the distance have a feeling reality may mot be great so may be best left as a nice idea!
