I'm a white guy from the US, but I've traveled to a number of countries in Africa, and it's really striking just how big and diverse a place it is (it is the second biggest continent, after all). Nigeria and South Africa are pretty damn far from each other, Just feels odd to me. It'd be like Ilia Topuria and Chan Sung Jung bickering over who would be the first Asian featherweight champ, or something like that.
