Falling WIP Continued!
Added 2025-06-06 17:46:49 +0000 UTCThis is a further WIP recording all the way up to the bridge. There's a bum note in the lead guitar in the second chorus, which I'll obviously have to fix. And I'm going to change the bridge, so the first two bars are just the clean guitar. It'll then build with the climbing distorted guitars - probably the higher one first then the lower one, which would take it to the end of the bridge. Right now, it's far too in your face from the very start of the bridge. There's no upward movement at all.
I think I'm happy with the lead guitar in the second verse. Especially once the vocals are added. It hopefully strikes the right balance between standing out, but also truly being a supporting layer.
There's a sample bass line in the verse. Once the remainder of the guitars are recording (final pre-chorus and chorus), the next step will be the bass!
