Just picked this up this Seiko new release with the 4r35 for £157….A Seiko, with the 4r35, new, for under £400….have I slipped into an alternate dimension?!?

4R35 is their bog standard offering now. Seiko has several watches with this movement, or a variant, for under £200 on any given day. It's basically the NH35/36 movements found in a tonne of microbrands and Ali Express watches.
