Update: We're Ending the "Commercial/Reseller" Tier

Hello all!

Thank you so much for your support over the last few years. In this time, we've kept building AzuraCast into the powerful, simple-to-use radio suite it is today, with bug fixes and new features coming out almost every single day for years now. This is only possible thanks to your help, and we're immensely grateful for it.

This is a small update to inform everyone that we're ending our trial run of the "commercial/reseller" program, where we asked for a monthly donation in return for enhanced one-on-one support and promotion on our project's installation page.

There are many reasons for this, but the largest of which is that it's impossible for us to pick a "one-size-fits-all" support amount for resellers of any size, since some are just getting started and others are well-established with many customers. We received complaints that the amount was too high for new resellers (it was established based on a very reasonable hourly contracting rate), requests for refunds, and users demanding higher levels of support before even donating to the tier on the premise that they might donate soon.

All in all, this program isn't well-suited for how Patreon works. We would rather Patreon just be about expressing support for the project because you're a happy user of the software and you want to help the passionate people who create free and open-source software like this survive. Donations should be just that: donations.

We will evaluate other options for commercial resellers in the future, but for now, anyone who was at the current $50 tier may want to edit their membership accordingly. If you want to continue supporting AzuraCast just as a donation at that monthly amount, you're welcome to do so, and it would be very appreciated.

Thank you again to everyone for your support.
