NWOT v 0.018b Hurricane Maria Emergency Version. (Old saves don't work.)

18b, I managed to fix a bug in kayla's new scene that would block going to her house. Thats fixed now. I had the first power outage though, so I'm going to turn off and disconnect the computer so that it survives the day. I will keep working as soon as I'm able.

Another post prepared before time... This time it's because of Hurricane Maria. My apologies, once again, for this unexpected event. Since this one got to cat 5 in one day, I prepare this post in a rush. As the Preview Tuesday of last week, this is a temporary announcement, just in case I lose power for a long time after the hurricane passes. This time the hurricane eye will actually pass through the middle of my country so I don't know when I will be back, but I hope it won't take that long since they just fixed the lines so they should resist a little more. I'm hoping that's the case. The reason this release is such an odd number (18a) is because I didn't have time to test this release, spell check it or even make the walkthrough. I heard about the hurricane two days before it would pass over us, (I only had  a few days of power before the day this new hurricane is supposed to pass) so this was all I could do to at least keep my word about releasing this on the date it should've gone out. I really hope it works for everyone, but if it doesn't I will fix any bugs as soon as the power and the internet are restored. Again, I'm sorry about this. If I'm not back in time for this release, please enjoy this half measure until I'm able to return. I will try to add the mediafire links now, but winds started and I don't know if the upload will finish in time. If it doesn't I will add them when I come back I'm sorry for this too.

Old saves don't work because of the new HUD. Since that caused the save incompatibility, I decided to add a bunch of variables to ensure you don't have to restart each version I publish. If you get a bunch of 'Variable not defined' errors, start the game from the beginning.

Now the list of changes.

Systems:

New hidden hud, added shadows to the font of the old hud.

You can change the hud in the map lower right corner while playing, after you finish the intro, or at the start of the game in the intro.

First salvage upgrade (Gloves).

fixed eliza picture not hiding correctly if you tried to speak to her.

fixed a mistake in naming Layla on boringtown and violet on zombietown after fixing the pump, but before returning home to find Val missing.

Events:

Added first Mack event.

Added house upgrade.

Added first Kayla event.

Added half Val event (The other half is still not done).

For this update I couldn't add: Hiehie's event, and system. violet's, layla's, eliza's and mary's events.
