September 2025 Update

Hello everyone!! Firstly, thank you so, so, so much for your support!! This is nowhere near the amount of patrons I thought we'd get and I'm just so shocked!!

Unfortunately -- there isn't all too much to show this month, both on account of the demo just releasing, and it being only about a week after it, and while most of our work has been done for the demo, we do have some additional progress!

BG artist Fristo has returned to clean up this Pastel Park background that was shown off in the trailer!
I'm surprised nobody was upset that Pastel Park wasn't playable in the demo -- it wasn't intended to be [only CatBrush, Catle Matsumoto, and Demohouse]
The trailer was for the main game, and DemoHouse is.. the house for the demo. I was pleased to see my fears were completely invalid.

Pastel Park will be undergoing a rework eventually anyway.

A majority of the non-demo work I've done lately has been done on the new level, Cherrypost.
It's what a lot of the Demohouse assets were intended to be made for, until I eventually realized that I'd need a new tileset for it. The red walls weren't going to cut it for the whole town!
Of course, the furniture will stay as is.

Cherrypost will be the last stage of the first world, after Pastel Park and Castle Matsumoto.

It also uses this Prairie Schooner as one of its main gimmicks, which is a needlessly complicated object to get working. it's a miracle it was able to go up that slope at all, LOL!
I cannot thank Core enough for having the prairie schooner in the state it is now. It still has some kinks to work out, but that'll happen with a moveable solid object!

The Lockbug got a redesign recently, it was something I wanted to look into before the demo but we didn't have enough time. Now the key is also a bug!
