Doom Eternal Review

Hi Guys

I just want to update you guys about my Doom Eternal review, basically where is it :)

Well surprise, surprise, I was literally the only reviewer that never got a key and not only that but Bethesda lied to me in an email exchange which ended up with them even taking the piss out of me lol.

I asked the UK press officer for Bethesda for a key back in feb, he replied telling me mid March is when keys will be handed out.  I then said could I get one, no reply.   

I also applied through keymailer for a key back in February, no reply from that either.

So mid March I opened another email to the UP press guy asking for a key, no reply.  Then embargo day happens and I go on youtube, search for Doom eternal reviews and find loads of them, even guys with 3k subs on their channel got one, I lost count of the amount of reviews, pages of them.

I got a bit angry and emailed the press guy asking him to just be honest and tell me why I was discriminated against.  He replied within 6 minutes lol, that certainly got him away from his ball scratching.  He replied with the biggest load of shite I have ever read.  I will quote it here:

"Because Mack, it was a staggered release to press. Any video channels will be receiving it tomorrow. Sorry you feel blighted, I can state it is not the case but am sure you disagree.

Discrimination is a strong word, and we have loads of people in the same position. It may not appease you, but it is true."

I then pointed him to hundreds of "Video reviews" and one in particular who actually quoted in his video title "thanks Bethesda for the key and early access"  I heated up some popcorn ready for his squirming and reply, here is the exact quote, you will love this:

"nothing else I can say. There is no agenda, but you feel there is. Not a lot I can say."

Damn right there is nothing you can say because I just destroyed your petty excuse, they did exactly the same with The outer worlds, yeah fill in this form, we send you a key, then stop replying to all emails lol

A few more emails happened then we both kind of stopped, the great thing was he pretty much confirmed that there is an obvious boycott of this channel from bethesda, probably because of Wolfenstein feminist edition and Failout 76 both were wrecked on worthabuy and rightly so.

So I do apologise that my review will be delayed probably until Sunday as the game still has not launched in the UK.  One bright bit of news though, my Greenmam Gaming contact mailed me two days ago and said if I don't get Doom key he would give me one and today he did just that, it's preloading now.  They are really good to my channel and I would ask that anytime you are planning to buy a game consider using them from the link in my channel.  Here is the Doom link but be advised it uses the Bethesda launcher not steam, but even if u buy on steam you need the Bethesda launcher, so.
