To get a better resolution for this old game go to your newconfig.txt which is usually in MOHAA/main/newconfig.txt and add the following lines
seta r_customheight "1080"
seta r_customwidth "1920"
Once you get into the game, go to game options and make sure you enable the console.
Now go to multiplayer setting and set up your name, skin and then go to join multiplayer game and add the following IP address and port (don't use num keys they don't work)

173.199.79.236:12203
If you join and it says the server if full just bring down the console and type password private then hit enter and type reconnect. Have fun
